Ghastly, Ghostly Drinks

Whether you’re celebrating this Halloween at a party or at home, vodka is a deliciously versatile liquor for sipping and mixing.  You don’t have to go grave-digging to find the best recipes, we’ve collected them here for you!  Here are a few party drinks that utilize vodka as its number one spirit making this Halloween frighteningly good time.  And as always, #drinkresponsibly.

 

Spooky Lemonade

Pour the following into a glass over ice:

  • 1½ oz. Vodka
  • 3 oz. lemonade
  • Stir in ¼ tsp. activated charcoal

Serve with an evil grin.

Winona Wallbanger

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine:

  • 1 ounce Vitzellen Vodka
  • ½ ounce Galliano
  • ½ ounce pür•likör spice
  • 1 ounce blood orange juice, and
  • ½ ounce Bittermens Speed Craft Grapefruit Cream Soda Syrup.

Shake and strain over fresh ice in a double old-fashioned glass.
Garnish with blood orange wheels, if desired.

V-Blood

Make injection syringe shots using 1 ounce of vodka and ¾ ounce grenadine.
Pour 3 ounces of 7-Up into an old-fashioned glass with an ice cube and a lemon slice.
Allow your guests to inject the vodka shot from the syringe into the glass when served.

Black Magic

Ingredients
2.5 ounces Black Vodka
3/4 ounce Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice 2/3 – 1 Small Lime
1/2-ounce Simple Syrup
Ice
Wilton edible white pearl dust

Instructions
Into a cocktail shaker add in your simple syrup, lime juice, and black vodka. Fill with ice until the liquid line. Give it a hard-shake for 30 seconds. Add a dash of pearl dust to the bottom of a martini or coupe glass. Pour cocktail into your glass and serve. Add more pearl dust if it’s not shimmery enough and stir it with a bar spoon to combine it.
