Bombes Away

Raspberry Bombe Dessert

The classic bombe dessert first appeared on restaurant menus back in 1882. Over the years, there have been many different versions of this dessert, but it can be made with fruit, ice cream, mousse, sorbet and even cake.

A raspberry bombe is a frozen dessert that is made with heavy cream, nuts, cherries, brandy and raspberry sherbet. These ingredients are layered in a bowl to create a hemispherical dessert that resembles a cannonball, hence the name. This flavorful dessert hits multiple senses as it is both visually appealing and delicious to eat.

Dessert cocktails are a great way to satisfy your sweet tooth without adding too many calories. We turned the ingredients from a traditional raspberry bombe into a creamy indulgent drink that is sure to make your taste buds happy.
