National Ice Cream Day

Salted Caramel Affogato

Did you know that Thomas Jefferson is credited with writing the oldest recipe for ice cream in the United States? For most folks, National Ice Cream day is celebrated with a cone or bowl filled with their favorite ice cream. But what could be a better way for adults to celebrate this day than with ice cream and Bogue Sound Distillery bourbon whiskey?

This affogato recipe combines the sweetness of ice cream with the smooth taste of our John AP Conoley Bourbon Whiskey. The result? A perfect pairing that will get your taste buds dancing! Although this drink is very easy to make, it does not skip on flavor.
