Spirited Salute

Bogue Sound Distillery takes pride in honoring those who serve or have served our country. May is military appreciation month, so we raise our glasses an extra time to salute service members, veterans and their families.  We don’t just celebrate service members in May.  We offer special lower rates all year round on tours for veterans, active duty personnel, and spouses.

Guided tour hours are: 11:AM, 12:30PM, 2:00PM, 3:00PM, and 5:00PM. Please note that we are an active distillery and that tour times may be delayed, or paths may be re-routed at times to accommodate production and safety requirements. Be sure to schedule your tour with one of our representatives at (252) 354-9131 or book your tour online

Memorial Day Weekend Event

Due to community events we will be supporting in May and June, we’re postponing the Memorial Day event and planning a Fourth of July Weekend Bash instead.  Come out on Saturday, July 6th for music, food, an open house, FREE tours and tastings of all of our signature spirits, of course!  We’ll see you there!

Military History Namesakes

Stop by our tasting room to pick up a bottle or two of Bogue Sound Distillery’s Spirits, named in honor of family members who served in the military:

  • Taste Vitzellen Vodka, which is named after a Civil War nurse who cared for soldiers in DC’s Old Capitol Prison.
  • Or pick up a bottle of John AP Conoley Bourbon Whiskey, who’s namesale was a 2D North Carolina Calvaryman in Company D.
  • And make a date with Bombshell Gin, the bottle is reminiscent of WWII pilots and their pinup girls.  In particular, it’s named to honor 1st Lt. Harold Chapman, the pilot of the Carolina Queen B-17G Bomber .  (move period.)

All our products, from start to finish, center on supporting our local community while being environmentally friendly. We are proud to be located in eastern North Carolina’s coast and share the region with a strong military presence.  In May, and always, we honor the service and sacrifices of veterans, military personnel and their families.  Thank you for your service.
